The Broadway Plaza Summer Concert Series is a free weekly concert series located in Walnut Creek that takes place every Thursday starting this August. The series will feature popular music from the 1950s to today and include food and drink vendors and family games for kids and adults.
What Is the Lineup for the Comeback of the Series?
All the best bands have a common word: they are “the best.” They have no equal, so the slogan “the best” has been adopted by generations of musicians. This will be the lineup for this month’s outdoor concerts:
- August 4: Petty Theft – san Francisco tribute to Tom petty and the heartbreakers
- August 11: The Sun Kings – a Beatles tribute, as nature intended
- August 18: Evolution: The ultimate tribute to the journey
- August 25: The Best Intentions
What to Expect for the Return of the Broadway Summer Concert Series?

The concert series will feature performances from artists famous in the Bay Area, each performing one song in a series of concerts during the day (and even into the night).
Expect to see many folks sitting in chairs on the sidewalk. But, then, expect to see those same people eating at nearby restaurants and shops in order to make room for the patrons who want to sit and watch music.
